The Hard Rock Atlantic City continues to prepare for a summer opening, with the most recent update being the release of plans for signs of the property. Welcoming customers to the casino will be several signs, including a 53-foot guitar located at the entrance of the venue.
The gigantic guitar will be a replica of a Les Paul classic sunburst guitar with the logo of the Hard Rock AC on the bridge of the instrument. Programmable neon light strips created by Sloan FlexiBRITE will be located on the neck and body, lit up during the nighttime hours.
The new sign will definitely catch the attention of passersby as it will stand 53 feet from the ground to its highest point. The guitar will be over 17 feet wide. The sign will be placed at the corner of Absecon Boulevard and North Virginia Avenue.
Hard Rock is certainly busy with the updates to the Atlantic City property, with a total of 15 signs being added to the new venue. The signs will be variations of the logo and distributed throughout the property. The largest of the signs will be placed on top of Tower 1. This sign will be 40×64 feet in size and will include the Hard Rock log with a purple background and gold lettering.
Patrons are ready for the Hard Rock Atlantic City to open. The casino is one of two set to open this summer in the region. Ocean Resort Casino is said to be opening around the same time, taking the place of the former Revel Casino. The Hard Rock is situated in the former Trump Taj Mahal. It will definitely be exciting to see the gaudy Taj be transformed to a Rock ‘n’ Roll themed casino resort by Hard Rock International.
Hopefully as new information is provided on the updates to the new Hard Rock Atlantic City, we will soon have an opening date announced.
