They have recently made requests for eight gaming licenses and the Swedish Gambling Authority has decided to approve all of them. Lind stated that the application process for the licenses had involved a lot of dedication and hard work and that they were convinced that the regulators from Sweden would do their best as well to provide better conditions of operators, customers, and shareholders alike. Furthermore, Lind stated that Sweden was one of the most important markets in the world for them and they intended to keep growing, although they were already in a strong position.
Lahcene Merzoug is a Business Area Managed and President of Come On who was also kind enough to briefly comment on the licenses and his company. He stated that ComeOn currently held several gaming licenses across several European countries and had a lot of experience operating gambling operations which were all in line with the requirements proposed by the Swedish Gambling Authority. ComeOn is a Malta-based casino which was recently acquired by Cherry which already operates more than a dozen most successful online gambling operators on the Scandinavian peninsula. Last May, Cherry successfully completed the takeover process and bought ComeOn for a total of $228.12 million. Apart from ComeOn, Cherry also owns domains such as CherryCasino.com, SveaCasino.com, and SunnyPlayer.com.
